Tennyson House outreach coordinator Nonku Ndima assisted a 20-year-old teenage mother Ayanda Phewa through the Department of Home Affairs with a birth certificate of her 2 year old son Siyamukela Phewa and with the application of the child support grant which was
South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) official advised them that by the month end of September, Siyamukela will be in the pay roll. While all of this was happening Nonku Ndima was preparing the teenage mother and her baby to be reunified back home with family in Harding, which is in the area of Kwa Machi in Port Shepstone on the North Coast. The Social grant will help in providing the basic needs of the child back home.
