YFC/KZN Internship training kicked off last week in Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The Internship Coordinator, Stacie Adams who was speaking during a training session that was held on Tuesday, 05 February 2019, said the project has 30 interns this year.
Adams said she had a great time with the previous group of interns and hope the 2019 group will excel and make use of this incredible opportunity. “The new interns are full of energy and enthusiasm. I hope the program will assist them to acquire skills, knowledge and technics that will be useful for their personal development and growth”, explained Adams.
Khayalethu intern, Mxolisi Mngadi said he is grateful for being granted an opportunity to serve those who are in need. “I am excited to be part of this program. The training sessions teach us a lot of things such as, creativity, team work, self-love and discipline”, said Mngadi.
