March 21 marks the day where South Africans get to celebrate Human rights day in commemoration of the event that took place in Sharpeville in 1960.
Youth for Christ Change Agents Project in partnership with Sthabile Community had an Event to celebrate the day as a reminder to all South Africans about the sacrifices that accompanied the struggle to attain Democracy in South Africa. The celebration focused more on reminding people their rights and the responsibilities that they have for every right.
Among our stakeholders South African police services, Metro police and the Ward Councillor took part in participating and sharing their understanding of Human Rights. South African police services emphasised on breaking the silence and helping to fight Gender based Violence.
The day was a success and the edutainment team brought entertainment for the day.
