FORMER YFC/KZN PEER EDUCATOR ENJOYS AIR WAVES

YFC/KZN Change Agents former peer educator, Aliyah Ndlovu was featured on Ukhozi FM VMBS (Vuka Mzansi Breakfast Show) Imfundo Iyadlisa program. The Ukhozi FM team took Ndlovu by surprise on Wednesday, 9 January 2019 when they visited her home in Inanda and escorted her to school.

Ndlovu who is doing her matric in Mvaba High School said she was excited to be featured on this program. “I am so grateful for this opportunity, this was an incredible experience. Thank you so much to my teachers and YFC/KZN Change Agents program for making a positive impact in my life as a student. Thank you to Ukhozi FM for featuring me in this wonderful program”, said Ndlovu.

The Ukhozi FM On Air Personality, Nongcebo Mckenzie said the program features hardworking students who love their school work. “We are making education fashionable by recognising and appreciating all the students who work very hard”, explained Mckenzie.

Change Agents Coordinator, Sane Shandu said she is excited to see the peer educators making names for themselves. “I am excited that Ndlovu was featured in this program. She is building a good reference for herself. I am so proud of all our 2018 peer educators and hope to get more results with the 2019 team”, said Shandu.
