The year 2020 was the most challenging year for the entire world. Some people lost their jobs which caused an immense amount of strain in their households.

Due to the high rate of unemployment during lock down Tennyson House introduced the feeding scheme program to help assist the communities with a balanced meal. Because of the number of cases that were obtained at the Amaoti area during this period, the Tennyson house team then requested from the ward councillor to open a drop-in centre which he granted free of charge.

The centre is now up and running and the kids never miss a day.
