that promote behavioural change in the areas of personal development,
gender, sexual and reproductive health and HIV and AIDS
The Internship program exists to provide
opportunities for young adults to practically serve underprivileged
communities through YFC/KZN projects while being trained and
mentored by workers in the youth developmental field.
The Youth Development Centre program
provides opportunities for young adults to travel to South Africa
to serve in local projects working with at-risk and disadvantaged
youth in a developing country.
Tennyson House & Khayalethu invests
its energy in prevention and early intervention initiatives
with children, youth and their families from at-risk communities
struggling with the issue of homelessness and other unhealthy
forms of street life. Our intention is to hold families together.
L’Abri is a centre for ecotherapy
in the beautiful and tranquil heart of the Kwa-Zulu Natal
wilderness, providing a challenging and inspiring setting
for both personal enrichment and team-building.
May’khethele is a project serving orphans and children made vulnerable due to HIV and AIDS. The project aims to support and care for orphan and vulnerable children through school and family intervention, e.g. HIV and AIDS workshops, School fees exemption, psychosocial support, voluntary counselling and testing etc. May’khethele project is funded by USAID/PEPFAR through the CINDI network.
